As a young company, Visceral Psyche is always on the lookout for individuals who are starting out in the industry and are looking to make their mark. We started in film school ourselves so we understand how hard it can be to get that first big break with which to showcase your talents.
In order to help you so you don't have to constantly check for updates, you can submit your info via the links below at any time. We will then store your details in our database and as soon as a production is started, send out a blanket email to everyone to let you know about the project. Your address is kept completely confidential and any emails are sent out using BCC to hide your address from others.
actors
For acting roles we ask that you email us a resumé (ODT, DOC or PDF preferred) as well as a recent headshot of yourself. Don't worry if you don't have lots of prior experience in acting; there have been plenty of first time actors who have given outstanding performances in their debut films and gone on to be A-list celebrities over time. We will always hold casting sessions for roles so you will get ample opportunity to show us what you can do regardless of previous performances:

crew
For crew roles we do look for some experience, although it needn't necessarily be work with a professional film crew. A talent for the area you want to work in and the ability to impress us are what counts. For example, if you are good with CGI but haven't worked with films before, as long as you can show us what you are capable of doing we will always be receptive to your application. We will list job requirements with each individual position so browse through them and be prepared to dazzle us with a showreel or other examples of what you can do if shortlisted. Crew role applications need to be emailed to us and should include an ODT, DOC or PDF resumé with the position being applied for in the email subject line. Do not attach examples of your work in the email itself. Include links to larger items such as downloadable movies etc if you wish, but don't attach the real thing. If we shortlist you for a role you can bring your showreels and other material to the interview (DVD or Blu-ray formats only for showreel footage, thanks):

If you have any questions about jobs at Visceral Psyche you can either email us or ask them in the particular forum of the job you're after. Showreel footage can be PAL or NTSC formatted - as long as it is on a DVD or Blu-ray we'll be able to play it.
There are currently no openings at Visceral Psyche Films but please email us your contact details so we can inform you when we have one.
